Terms of Use for CROWDIZ

These Terms of Use ('Terms') govern the rights and obligations of parties accessing and utilizing the crowdiz.com website ('User') and the site's operator ('Operator'). By accessing, browsing, or utilizing any portion of this portal, the User confirms that they have read, understood, and unreservedly agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any provision, you must terminate site usage immediately.

Crowdiz is an independent analytical, informational, and educational initiative dedicated to monitoring peer-to-peer (P2P) lending, crowdlending platforms, and alternative debt investments in Europe. Content features independent reviews, comparison tables, interactive calculators, and the founder's personal 'Skin in the game' case study. The Operator expressly clarifies: • We do not provide financial intermediation or investment advisory services under Slovak or EU laws. • We do not accept deposits, hold client money, or intermediate loan agreements. • Calculations and metrics serve strictly illustrative and educational purposes.

All content on Crowdiz, including text analyses, articles, database structures, charts, calculator code, source scripts, logos, visual layouts, and UI design, is protected as an authored work and database under Act No. 185/2015 Coll. Copyright Act as amended, and international intellectual property treaties. Usage Guidelines: • Users are granted permission to browse and review content strictly for private, non-commercial purposes. • Any reproduction, syndication, republication, redistribution, or commercial exploitation without prior written consent from the Operator is strictly forbidden. • Prohibition of Web Scraping: The use of automated tools, crawlers, scrapers, bots, or extraction scripts to harvest data or content from Crowdiz without explicit written authorization is categorically prohibited.

Users agree to utilize the portal ethically, lawfully, and in conformity with these Terms. Users shall not: • Undertake any action compromising portal stability, security, or availability (e.g. DDoS attacks, SQL injection, brute-force admin logins). • Attempt unauthorized access to internal systems, databases, or restricted administrative modules. • Transmit unsolicited promotional material (SPAM), malicious scripts, or offensive content via contact forms.

Crowdiz provides an option for voluntary contributions to support independent hosting, software research, and analytics development (such as through QR codes or donation buttons). Legal Nature of Gifts: • Any contribution constitutes a voluntary, unilateral, non-refundable gift under Section 628 et seq. of the Slovak Civil Code (Act No. 40/1964 Coll.). • Making a donation does not entitle the donor to commercial services, products, shares, revenue participation, or editorial influence over portal publications. • Contributions are non-refundable, except for statutory reclamation grounds explicitly recognized under the Slovak Civil Code.

The portal displays outbound links to third-party domains (e.g. P2P platforms, analytical sites). The Operator bears no responsibility for external availability, privacy terms, or accuracy. Certain links are affiliate links – detailed disclosure is provided in our Disclaimer.

Crowdiz, its software modules, calculators, and published data are offered on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, without express or implied warranties of any variety. The Operator does not warrant that: • Site operations will remain uninterrupted, error-free, or immune to server outages. • Displayed data or third-party calculations are invariably exhaustive, current, or flawless at every juncture. To the fullest extent permissible under the laws of the Slovak Republic, the Operator disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, lost earnings, investment losses, or data corruption arising from website usage.

The Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms unilaterally at any time due to legal evolutions, functional expansions, or technical re-architectures. Modifications become effective immediately upon publication on this site. Continued portal use following updates constitutes agreement to the updated Terms.

These Terms and all legal interactions between the Operator and User shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the Slovak Republic, excluding conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall fall under the exclusive subject-matter and territorial jurisdiction of the courts of the Slovak Republic. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, it shall not impair the validity of the remaining clauses. The invalid clause will be superseded by a valid provision reflecting the intended commercial and legal essence.
